Welcome to 196 Deansgate, where timeless charm meets contemporary character. Opened in 1908 as the Royal London Friendly Society, our beautifully-restored Edwardian building is the perfect place to work, connect and thrive.

The Story

Steeped in history — a true icon.

Step out of the bustle of Manchester city centre into the gorgeous surroundings of 196 Deansgate. We offer the best of both worlds: the timeless feeling of the golden era of work as well as state-of-the-art spaces, cutting-edge design and flawlessly contemporary service.

We’ve meticulously restored the original features of this 100-year building, but by adding a few modern touches we’ve created a space enitirely its own. From the beautiful floors to the painstakingly restored wood panelling and period tiling, every inch of the building has a story to tell.
